BARN DOOR KILLED HIM, Weesaw Resident Dies from Injuries

Joel Hartline, a well known and respected resident of Berrien county, met with
an accident Thursday on his farm in Weesaw township which resulted in his death
several hour[sic] later.  At noon Mr. Hartline went to his barn and was in the
act of entering when the barn door fell on him, crushing him to the ground.  It
was at once apparent that his injuries were fatal, he lingering until near
midnight.  Mr. Hartline was near 70 years of age.  A widow and several children
survive him.  He was one of the best known of the county's pioneers.
