Herald Palladium 04 Nov 1985
The Herald Palladium carried an obituary for Albert Hauch on 04 Nov 1985 and 
it reads:  “Albert Hauch Three Oaks-Albert Hauch, 57, of 302 N. Elm St., Three 
Oaks, was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph, following an 
apparent heart attack.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at 
the Connelly-Noble Funeral Home, Three Oaks, where friends may call today from 
7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.  Burial will be in Riverside 
Cemetery, Chickaming Township.  Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace 
Lutheran Church, New Buffalo, of which he was a member.  Mr. Hauch was born 
June 6, 1928, in Sawyer.  He retired in 1975, as a welder for the Berry Metal 
Co., New Buffalo.  He was active in the Three Oaks Emergency Vehicle 
Association as an instructor in first aid, CPR and EMT.  Survivors include:  
his wife, the former Mary Wharton; three daughters-Doris Gamble of Niles, Anna 
Hauch of Three Oaks, and Virginia Goodenough of New Troy; three grandchildren; 
two sister-Martha Baldwin of Belleville, Ill.  and Clara Gast of Sawyer; and 
two brothers-Herman Hauch of Sawyer and Eric Reske of Pendelton, Ind.”  DOD 04
