Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home, Bridgman, where friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery. Mr. Hauch was born Aug. 18 1907, in Benton Harbor. He was a retired mechanic and parts manager for Lintner Chevrolet, Three Oaks. He had resided in New Troy his entire life. Survivors include; a son, Richard of Battle Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Lydia) Hafer of Buchanan; three brothers-William Howe of Berrien Center, Otto Hauch and John Hauch, both of Buchanan; two half brothers-Albert Peters of Rothbrum, Idaho and Gus Peters of Mansfield, Ohio; two half sisters-Mrs. George (Gustie) Anderson of Buchanan and Mrs. Evelyn Schutze of Niles; four step sisters-Mrs. Voilet Woodin of New Troy, Mrs. Ida Dukesderer of Sodus, Mrs. Edna Rowlee of Eaton Rapids, and Mrs. Elsie Foondle of Prescott, Ariz.: two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren.” DOD 31 May 1984 His wife was Marie (Wirsbinski) Hauch.
