Herald Palladium 26 Mar 1978
The Herald Palladium carried the obituary for Marie Hauch on 26 Mar 1978 and 
it reads:  “Marie Hauch New Troy-Mrs. Marie Hauch, 72, of Box 131, New Troy, 
died Saturday morning at Mercy Hospital, Benton Harbor.  She was born March 
24, 1906, in Port Washington, Wis.  Survivors include her husband, August; a 
son, Richard, Stevensville; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Lydia) Hafer, Buchanan; 
three brothers, John Wirsbinski, Frank Wirsbinski, both of Mosinee, Wis., Mark 
Wirsbinski, West Allis, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Hoops, Mosinee, Wis., 
Mrs. Margaret Miller, New Berlin, Wis.; two grandchildren; one great-
grandchild.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Boyd Funeral 
Home, Bridgman, with burial in New Troy Cemetery.  Friends may call at the 
funeral home.”
