Hauch on 15 Mar 1988: “Otto E. Hauch Buchanan-Services for Otto E. Hauch, 74, of 13894 Pardee Road, who died at 6:10 a.m. Monday in Berrien General Hospital, Berrien Center, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harbert Community Church. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery, where members of the Weechick American Legion Post 518 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Connelly-Noble Funeral Home, Three Oaks. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, of which he was a member. Mr. Hauch was a retired automobile body technician from Lintner Chevrolet, Three Oaks, where he worked for 40 years. He was born Aug. 14, 1913 in Weesaw Twp. On Aug. 31, 1940, in three Oaks he married Dorothea Hess. She survives with two stepsisters, Violet Wooder of New Troy and Ida Dukesherer of Benton Harbor; two half sisters, Gustie Anderson of Buchanan and Evely Schutze of Niles; a brother John of Buchanan; a stepbrother, Adolph Peters of Casa Grande, Ariz.; and two half brothers, Fred Peters of Pownal, Vt., and Albert Peters of Rathdrum Idaho. Mr. Hauch was an Army veteran of World War II.
