News Palladium 28 Apr 1978
The News Palladium carried the obituary for William Hauch on 28 Apr 1978 and 
it reads:  “William Hauch William Hauch, 69, of 2183 Colfax, Benton Harbor, 
died yesterday in Mercy hospital.  He was born on Oct. 6, 1903, in Russia, and 
came to the UI.S. in 1921.  He retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 1969, 
after 20 years of service.  Surviving in addition to his wife, the former 
Lydia Radtke, are three sons, Elmer of Baroda, Eric of Coloma and Daniel of 
Benton Harbor; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Zepik of Poway, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 
p.m. in the Fairplain chapel, Florin funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Pepple, 
pastor of the Fairplain Assembly of God, officiating.  Burial will be in 
Crystal Springs cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home.”  He was a 
son of Ernestina also seen as Mary Hauch.  DOD 27 Apr 1978
