Inglewright, who has been suffering for several years of a derangement of the digestive organs, died last Monday. It was thought by many that he had a tape-worm, and to discover the cause of his sickness, a post mortem examination was made, when the inner membrane of the stomach was found to be the seat of the disease, and in such a condition that he received no nourishment from his food, and literally starved to death. The leading symptoms were a most ravenous appetite and a continued wasting away of flesh, until a mere skeleton remained.
