Nov. 25, 1886, page 5 Niles Republican II, Thurs. Nov. 25, 1886, page 5 Sarah Ann, wife of Isaac Jenkins, of this township, died very suddenly on the 18th inst., after only a few days’ illness. She was born in Greene county, Oho, Dec. 14, 1831, and came with her parents and only prother[sic], Henry S. Robinson, of this place, in the fall of 1883[sic], to Cass county, where the father died soon after, leaving the mother and two children among strangers in a wilderness land, and soon after she came to his township, where she has lived ever since. She was an earnest and faithful member of the U.B. church at Franklin Chapel. She was aged fifty-four years, eleven months and four days. She leaves a kind husband and ten children, six sons and four daughters, to mourn their loss. Her funeral was very largely attended at the Berrien Centre church, on Saturday, the 20th inst., the services being conducted by Rev. G. Sicafoos, of Berrien Springs. Additional Comments: This is listed under “Berrien Centre Ballots” so “this township” apparently refers to Berrien township. Burial at South Union per transcription of that cemetery by Daundra Baker and lists maiden name as Robertson, daughter of Bresley & Ann Robertson Berrien County Marriage Index has Sarah Ann Robertson m. Isaac Baker, 5 Sept. 1852. Brother’s name is given as Henry S. Robinson and in 1850 Census, Berrien Co., Henry, age 20, and Sarah A. Robinson, 18, born Ohio, are living in the household John Powers, age 46, and Ann Powers, age 40, both born Va. John Powers m. Ann Robinson, 13 May 1834 in Cass Co., per Dibean Index. Henry S.
