MRS. KEMPTON DEAD

	Mrs. Hettie Kempton of Glendora, widow of Henry Kempton, a former resident of
Niles, died on Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Hatch, in Benton
Harbor.  The funeral services will be held at the home in Glendora Sunday
afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Mrs. Kempton was 77 years old. She is survived by four
children:  Mrs. Hatch and Mrs. Weaver, the latter of Glendora, Edward, of
Glendora, and John Of New Troy, also by two sisters, Mrs. Hampton Haggerty and
Miss Mary Lambert, of Niles, by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and by
a number of nieces and nephews.  Several from Niles will attend the funeral
services.
