Aged 82 years, 11 months and 25 days. He moved with his parents to Michigan in the year of 1845 and settled on the old homestead about a mile southeast of Buchanan where he lived the greater part of his life. He married Euretta C. Hathaway, September 6, 1849, by whom he had six children, three sons and three daughters, of whom Thomas A., of his[sic] vicinity survives him. His wife dying Feb. 1860, he was married a second time to Leah R. Shook, Feb. 22, 1862, by whom he had four children, one son and three daughters, of whom one daughter, Mrs. Nettie Lister of this place, is still living. His second wife passed from this life August 29, 1891. Mr. Marsh was a man of strictly temperate habits, industrious and of a quiet disposition. He will be missed by a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held at the Advent Christian church, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Elder Chas. A. Shook officiating.
