Mrs. Nagle was the widow of John Nagle, who died May 24, 1917. She was born in Newark, N.J.., Oct. 15, 1850, and came here from Joliet, Ill., 56 years ago. She was married in Jackson at St. Johns Roman Catholic church to Mr. Nagle, Aug. 8, 1871. Three sons and two daughters survive. They are: William Nagle and Arthur Nagle, at home, and John G. Nagle, Chicago; Mrs. Emma Dahlke, Chicago, and Mary Nagle, at home. One daughter, Madelia, 27, died in 1905. Requiem high mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9 o’clock in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic church, the Rev. Victor F. Ducat officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. Nagle had been active in the work of St. Mary’s for more than 56 years, until failing health made it necessary for her to remain at home. Friends of the family are asked to call at the home today and Friday. Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic church, of which Mrs. Nagle had been a member for more than 50 years. Pallbearers were Edward J. Donahue, Thomas Flynn, Marshall Grathwohl, Robert Blake, Cleveland Moyer and Bert Fisher. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
