Oct. 19, 1946, page 2 Mrs. Mary Pangvorn, 90, Dies Friday at her Buchanan Home Buchanan, Oct. 19—Mrs. Mary Ann Pangborn, 90, died at 8:05 p.m. Friday at her home following a six months illness. She was a native of Buchanan township, born July 29, 1856, a daughter of Albert and Lucinda Tomlinson. She married Darwin D. Pangborn March 10, 1885, in Buchanan. With the exception of a few years spent at Newago[sic] their entire married life was spent in Buchanan. Mrs. Pangborn was a charter member of the Buchanan chapter of the WCTU and a member of the Evangelical church for a number of years. Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, A.O. Pngborn, Buchanan; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Nutt, Dearborn; Mrs. Alice Fowler, Big Rapids; and Mrs. Zoa Forman, who lived with the parents. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Evangelical church with the Rev. Raymond H. Kretzchmer officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge cemetery. The body is at the Swem funeral home, but will be taken to the residence Sunday noon when friends may call.
