Paxton, who had made his home for many years with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Cool, was born Sept. 27, 1871 in Buchanan township. He is survived by a brother, Clyde Paxton, also of rural route two. The Rev. R.H. Kretzchmer, pastor of the Evangelical church, will conduct services Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Swem funeral home where friends may call. Burial will be in Oakridge cemetery.
