Berrien County Record 10 Jan 1996
The Berrien County record carried the obituary of Albert Peter on 10 Jan 1996 
and it reads:  “Albert Peters New Troy-Albert Peters, 72, of Sutherlin, Ore., 
formerly of New Troy, died in Sutherlin.  He was born Aug. 2, 1923, in New 
Troy and had lived in this area most of his life.  He retired as an 
electrician.  He formerly was employed at Clark Equipment Co., Buchanan.  
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, David Peters of Idaho and James 
Carter of California; four daughters, Jo Marie Graves of Oregon, Jean Scholle 
of Washington, Terry Adsit of Colorado, and Cheryl Peters of Washington; qq 
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gustie Anderson of New 
Troy and Evelyn Schutze of Niles; one brother, Gus of Ohio; four half sisters, 
Ida Dukesherer of Benton Harbor, Edna Rowlee of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and Elsie 
Foondle and Violete Harper , both of Arizona; and two half brothers, John 
Hauch of New troy and Adolph Peters of Arizona.  The funeral and burial was 
held in Sutherlin.  Information provided by Boyd Funeral home, Bridgman.”
