DIED—Mr. George Pierce, the oldest man in Weesaw Township, died on Sunday, age
86 years, lacking less than a month. He leaves an aged widow, with whom he has
lived sixty years, also several children to mourn his loss.  At the time of his
death he resided with his son, Mr. Wm. Pierce, of Weesaw.

GENDIS George Pierce Sr., Ledger Page 86, Record 418, died 11 Feb. 1872 at
Weesaw, Berrien Co., Married, farmer, age 85y 11m 25d, of general debility. Born
Rhode Island, parents Giles and Hannah Pierce.
