Scott, 78 Harry W. Scott, 517 West Main street, died at 3 a.m. tody in Pawating Hospital. He had been ill four weeks. Surviving are his wife, Jessie; one daughter, Miss Hester Scott, Niles; one son, Walter Scott, Holland; and three grandchildren. Scott was born on Jan. 30, 1875, in Pulaski, O. and at the age of six weeks was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. George Riley Scott, of Portage Prairie, where he lived most of his life. He moved to Niles four years ago. Friends may call at the family residence starting Sunday evening, where prayer services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. L. George Beacock, Methodist pastor, officiating. Rites will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Portage Prairie Evangelical United Brethren Church, with the Rev. G.A. Steeby, Niles EUB pastor, and the Rev. Wayne Palmer, Portage Prairie, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Portage Prairie Cemetery. Scott was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, Niles.
