Berrien County Record, July 14, 1887
DIED.--Mrs. Phebe Snyder died at her home, in Berrien township,, yesterday
morning, aged 79 years.  Mrs. Snyder with her family moved on to the farm where
she died in 1832.  They procured a title to the land direct fom the Government
and have the parchment deed signed by Andrew Jackson.  The instrument bears no
record file which would show that it had never been recorded.
