Berrien Springs Era, April 6, 1905, page 1
Word has been received here of the death at Seattle, Wash. of Will Stevens after
an illness of some months following a stroke of paralysis.   He was in his
fifty-eighth year.  He will be remembered by the older inhabitants of this town
as having passed all the younger part of his life here.  Later as having gone
west to seek his fortune.  His father and mother are buried at Rose Hill
cemetery.  He has one sister living in South Haven, Mrs. Sarah Richardson, and
another, Mrs. Amanda Miller near Buchanan.  His brother, Ham Stevens, was with
him and cared for him in his last days.
