Louis Thurston

Louis A Thurston, 81, of Coloma, Michigan died Monday April 22, 1996 at 
Lakeland Medial Center, St Joseph Michigan. 
    The funeral was held at 2 PM Thursday at Davidson Chapel, Florin Funeral 
Service, Coloma. Burial was in Coloma Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the 
family.
     Mr. Thurston was born December 26, 1914 in Zeeland, Michigan. He retired 
in 1977 from Midwest Timer in Hagar Shores, Michigan. He was a 1933 graduate of 
Coloma High School. 
     Survivors include: his wife, the former Marilyn Yirchott; three sons- 
William Thurston and Kim Spoke of Coloma, Robert and wife Michelle Thurston of 
Benton Harbor, Michigan. and Ronald and wife Vicki Head of Fort Stockton TX; 
seven daughters-Shirley Thurston of Niles, Michigan, Linda and husband Pat 
Cullitan of Lake Jackson TX, LaDonna and Husband Dave Munjoy of Pullman, 
Michigan, Linda and husband Carman Tull of Columbia, TN, Sherry and husband 
Paul Kuzma of Schoolcraft Michigan  and Marie and husband Donald Freeman of 
Coloma; 28 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren ;and one sister Eunice and 
husband Kenneth Brower of Clarksville, Michigan. He was preceded in death by 
his first wife HIlda in 1971.
