Weaver Buchanan—Earl F. Weaver, 87, of Rt. One, Main Street Rd., died at 9 p.m. Thursday at Berrien General Hospital, Berrien Center. He had been ill for the last three years. Mr. Weaver was a retired city street department employe. He was born July 25, 1888, in Buchanan Township and had lived here all his life. His wife, the former Cleo Ismay Burgoyne, whom he married here in 1910, died Jan. 30, 1961. Surviving are two sons, Clyde of Buchanan and Doyle of South Bend; three daughters, Mrs. Earldene Whales of Buchanan, Mrs. Vivian Price of South Bend and Mrs. Mona Bennett of Indianapolis, Ind.: two brothers, Otis of Frederic, Mich., and Marion of Dayton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ferris of Buchanan and Mrs. Bessie Baldwin of Niles, 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Swem Chapel of the Swem-Smith Funeral Home. Officiating will be Elder jack Rees of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 7 p.m. Saturday.
