BUCHANAN FARMER DIED IN HOSPITAL IN ANN ARBOR Fred Weaver, 37, a life-long resident of Buchanan, and well known as a farmer there, died yesterday afternoon in an Ann Arbor hospital where he had been confined for seven weeks with diabetes. His death, although culminating a period of illness, was unexpected, as his condition was not regarded as critical. His father, William Weaver, also of Buchanan, was at his bedside when death came and superintended the removal of the remains to their Buchanan home. Fred Weaver was born Sept. 25, 1886, the son of Mrs. and Mrs. William Weaver, residing northwest of Buchanan, and received his schooling and early training in the business of farming there. He married Leah Ray, well known as a school teacher, and to this union was born three children who survive: Ronald, 12, Lazelle, 11 and Delee, 8. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Weaver home. Burial will be made in the Buchanan cemetery. Mrs. Weaver was born in Buchanan and was 37 years old. Besides his father and mother, he is survived by his wife and three children, Ronald, Lazelle and Delee.
