April 30, 1891 p. 3 Buchanan Record, Thurs. April 30, 1891 p. 3 MR. DAVID WEAVER, of Dayton, died Thursday morning April 30, of rheumatism, after suffering for many years. He wsa born October 13, 1810 in Montgomery county, whence he moved to Darke county, and from there to Indiana, where, in 1835, he was wedded to Miss Mary Wiltfong. The same year he moved to Berrien county, Michigan, where he has resided ever since. He was united with the Dunkard church in 1840, serving as a minister of that denomination until the heavy hand of age called him from his work. He was 80 years, 6 months and 17 days old. He was father of eight children, of whom two have preceded him over the portal of death, leaving a dear wife and six children to mourn his loss. We may not mourn the eve that fitly closed so grand a life, no begrudge him welcome wearied with so great a strife.
