Mr. Webber was a most excellent citizen and one of our oldest settlers. He was born in Franklin county, Ind., Dec 1817, and removed to Niles in 1828. His farm was just south of the city limits, and on it he had spent the grater part of his life. Although he had passed aged of 68, he would probably have lived for many years yet, but for the unfortunate accident which impaired a vigorous constitution. His wife died in December, 1882, and the family will feel this new affliction keenly. They have the heartfelt sympathy of all who know them.
