St. Joseph Weekly Press February 20, 1908
V.P. Wenzlick died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Morlock, last 
evening at 12:15 o'clock, from apoplexy at the age of seventy-seven years. The 
deceased has made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Morlock for the past four months, 
and has a host of friends here who will be surprised to learn of his death, as 
he had been quite active up to within a few days. His wife died a short time 
ago. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
