Last year we established an endowment fund under Friends of Morton Hill Cemetery. The donations are used to restore the monuments and provide better landscaping. We have been able to fund a night light for the cemetery to prevent further vandalism and have held two work days to plant flowers and clean up the grounds. We are in the process of erecting a Michigan Historical marker in the cemetery that was founded in 1836. If you are interested in contributing, please contact Thomas Filstrup.
