Harris James Benedict was born July 9, 1896 in Hammondsport, Steuben Co., NY.  
He died July 8, 1959 in Mt. Pleasant, Isabella Co., MI.  His parents were 
William James & Emma C. (VanGelder) Benedict.  Harris & Louise were married 
May 8, 1947 in Goshen, Elkhart Co., Indiana. Harris died of a heart attack.
Louise Elizabeth (Sharpe) Benedict was born Feb. 16, 1912 in Berrien Center, 
Berrien Co., MI.  She died June 14, 1999 in Mt. Pleaseant, Isabella Co., MI.  
She died of stomach cancer.  Her parents were Darwin Everett & Eliza (Knuppel) 
Sharpe.
