Mary J. Swearing, through attorney N. A. Hamilton,  filed a bill of divorce.
Married October, 1891
On or about 17th Feb, 185 husband convicted in Berrien county circuit court of
assault upon Augustus Vetter with intent to murder and was sentenced to Jackson
for 15 years.
