April 29, 1896, page 1 Ex-alderman Anson F. Bither and Miss Alma Dye were united in marriage Thursday at the home of the latter just west of Niles, at 8 o'clock by the Rev. J.C. Honigh, pastor of the Baptist church. Only the immediate friends and relatives of the contracting parties were present. The bride wore a beautiful changeable silk dress and carried a large boquet[sic] of white roses. The bride and groom were led to their respective positions by the bride's little niece, Anna Dye, while the organ, presided over by Miss Bronson, pealed forth a wedding march. After the ceremony was performed, all present sat down to a bounteous supper especially prepared for the occasion. The principals are both prominent and well-known to our Niles people, who heartily congratulate them. May success and happiness be theirs in future years.
