Stein, of the township of Hager, in the county of Berrien and the state of Michigan, being of sound mind, make this my last will. I give, desire and bequeath my estate and property, real and personal, as follows, that is to say: - All of my real and personal estate of every kind, name and nature, I give, devise and bequeath to my son Jacob F. Stein, who is now living with me, subject to the following legalies to be paid by him the said Jacob F. Stein to wit: First, the said Jacob F. Stein shall out of my said estate left to him pay all my just debts, the expenses of my last sickness, and the expenses of my funeral. Second, within three years after my decease the said Jacob F. Stein shall pay to my daughter, now Elizabeth Sherer, the sum of five hundred dollars. Third, He shall also pay to my son Phillip Henry Stein the sum of one dollar. I appoint Frank Morelock, of St. Joseph Berrien County Michigan, executor of this my will. In wittness whereof, I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my will at St. Joseph, Berrien County, Michigan on the eleventh day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.
