Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Emma Winzlick (sic) all of my property, both real and personal, that I may have at the time of my death, she to use and control the same during her life time, but at her death I direct that whatever remains of my estate which has not been used by my said wife, shall be given to such charitable institutions as she, my said wife, shall direct. Third, I direct that if I should not return from a trip I am about to make abroad, that seventy-five dollars, which I recieved from my Mother's estate, be used for the purpose of purchasing a statue of St. Monica, said statue to be erected in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Watervliet, Mich. as a memorial to my Mother. I hereby appoint my wife Emma Wenzlick, Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament. Lastly I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time made. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seven.
