Barrett Palimater, a prominent young man of Coldwater, while out hunting with a companion, Levi Cosper, Sunday afternoon, was accidently shot in the back by Cosper, dying almost in most instantly. The two men were going through a barb wire fence when suddenly they met a blue racer. They both cocked their guns and Palmater ran ahead of Cosper just as he fired. He is survived by a widow and two small children.
