TWISS, came to Union City 55 years ago, went to living in a shanty which was so full, and all around the door, she could not get her furniture in the shanty. They had sewing circles of the religious societies. One was quite a distance from her home and she wanted to go but had no way, and got a chance to ride on a saw-log. Made an acquaintance she shall always remember, and loves to turn back to those incidents when the county was new.
