The Weekly Courier
Frank Calkins received a telephone message this morning announcing that his 
brother, Chas. W. Calkins, had dropped dead at Scottsville, Mason county.  In 
company with his wife he went there a few days ago on a visit.  No particulars 
have been received but it is thought that he suffered another stoke of 
paralysis having received his first stroke three years ago.  He was a man of 60 
years of age and had lived in Branch county a long time.  His home was on a 
farm near Hodunk.  Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, E.F. of Hodunk 
and Fred of Sherwood.
