Obituary  FRANK D DAVIS
Frank D Davis was born February 28, 1858 at East Gilead, Michigan, and
died at 
Empire City, Oklahoma on June 30, 1920, aged 62 years, 4 months and 2
days.
He was married to Della Jenkins on August 1881.  To this union were born
four 
children - Jay who died January 9, 1918; May, now Mrs. Frank Boyer, of 
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Maud, now Mrs. Jason Ferris of Angola; Essa,
who 
died in infancy.
He has one sister, Mrs. Della Mallory, of Burr Oak Michigan; the last
one of 
four children.  He was the only son of Chester and Harriett Davis.  His 
parents died before he was 7 years old, leaving him to live with his
uncles 
and aunts until he was old enough to care for himself.
He joined the U B Church at Helmer in January, 1901 and lived in that
faith 
till his death.
He leaves beside his family - one sister, an uncle, many cousins and
friends 
to mourn his loss.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Jason Ferris, Angola,
July 6 at 
2 o'clock; Interment in the Old Cemetery.  Elder Jacobs of the M.E.
Church 
officiating.
