Her death was due to cancer of the breast with which she has for a long time been afflicted. Mrs. DeClute's maiden name was CRAWFORD and she was a native of New York State, in which commonwealth she was born in December 1842. She came to Coldwater to reside thirty-six years ago. She is survived by her second husband, Daniel DE CLUTE. Her first husband George SMITH having died about fotry five years ago. Ten years later she married Mr. De Clute. She is survived by three brothers, Frank and Contranine CRAWFORD of Coldwater and Skijar CRAWFORD of Wahoo, Nebraska. One sister, all trace of whom has completely disappeared, is also thought to be still living. The funeral was held in her apartment this afternoon and interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
