Priscilla, only one of four children at home at the time, was alone in she house when her night clothing became ignited. The child was taken by ambulance Community hospital. Mr. Hudson is an employe of the Battle Creek Plating Corp., where he works on the 3 p.m. shift. The accident, happened inside the Hudson house. Mr. Hudson said he arose about 10 a. m. and went to the home of a Bartholomew - family -four door away too get his wife, Anna, who was visiting there with their youngest child, Annabelle, 3, When they, returned to their house they found charred clothing trailing from the kitchen to the bedroom and on the bed was Priscilla, her clothing burned away. The child was seared and unconscious, When Mr. Hudson had arisen and left to get his wife, Priscilla was asleep in her bed, he said. Whether she struck a match in that way Ignited her flight clothing or whether she brushed against an exposed flame in the kitchen gas stove., he could not say:, :IL was reported the child's condition was "most critical" at 12:30 p.m. today. The Hudson' two other children, Patricia, 10, and Ovel Leroy, 7, were at Washington school when the accident happened.
