Included in this portion is the 120 year old Harmonia Cemetery, located atop a hill near the Fort Custer water storage tanks. The cemetery was named after a village called HARMONIA in 1850, established by the Society of Friends whick operated a manual labor school in the settlement south of the Kalamazoo River.
