Brown, 25 Poplar street, was found by her husband, sitting lifeless in her chair yesterday afternoon when he came home about 5:30 o’clock. Gas was pouring from an unlighted oven, the fumes of which had caused her death. She lived in that neighborhood until her marriage in 1881, when she came to Battle Creek and had resided here ever since. Lyman of Kansas City MO; three grandchildren; one brother, Linus Spaulding of California, and five sisters, Mrs. Nettle Berry of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Fred Cowles of Battle Creek township, Mrs. L.G.
