Battle Creek Enquirer
Ms. Elsie Eliza Brown, 83, of Battle Creek, MI, died August 11, 2007 at Battle 
Creek Health System in Battle Creek, MI.
She was employed at the Ft. Custer State Home then Battle Creek VA Medical 
Center until retiring in 1978. In retirement she was employed at Big Boy 
restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter; agranddaughter; a sister and 4 brothers.
She was a former member of the Mt. Zion AME Church. She enjoyed bowling, 
cooking, bingo and she loved children.
Memorial service will be held Friday, August 17, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at the Bachman 
Hebble Funeral Service. Burial will be at the Reese Cemetery in Springfield, 
MI. Memorial tributes may be made to Charity of one's choice.
