Went to be with our Lord, Saturday, June 30, 2007. Jim was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan; 
Jim grew up in Scotts and lived most of his life in the Climax-Scotts area.

He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era from 1968-1970 and was a 
member of the Climax American Legion. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and great-nephew. 
Interment of cremains will take place 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 
with full military honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Pastor Dennis Veen 
Kant of Richland, MI will be officiating. 
Visitation with the family will follow the services at Climax American Legion. 
Memorial contributions can be made to the Climax American Legion or to the 
family. 
Services provided by Avink Funeral Home Cremation Society in Schoolcraft, MI.
