Clair D. Chamberlain, 77, of Homer, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007, at his 
home. He was born in Litchfield Township.
 Clair was a farmer all his life. He also owned Clair Chamberlain Construction, 
starting in the early 1970s to the present. Clair was a member of Odd Fellows, 
Farm Bureau, Big "9" Sportsmen Club and Litchfield Historical Society. He serv-
ed on the Homer School Board for 8 years and Homer Township Board of Review 
several years. He enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting all kinds of game, roasting 
hogs, mushroom hunting, playing euchre, and socializing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pauline Roan; and brothers, 
Faye and Roland.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral 
Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, with the Rev. Clyde Wonders officiating. 
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Homer. Visitation will be Sunday, 
July 8, from 3 - 6 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Homer Community Foundation 
and American Cancer Society.
