Battle Creek Enquirer – May 10, 1995
 Iris May Drake, 76, of Battle Creek died Tuesday, May 9, 1995 ,in
Battle Creek Health System/Leila Site, where she was taken after 
 stricken at home.
She was born in Vanderbilt to Leon A. and Grace A. (Pike) Drake
and lived most of her life in Battle Creek.
 She was employed for many years in the kitchens of Two John’s Lounge 
and Hosh’s Grill.
 She was a member of the Salvation Army and its Home League.
 She enjoyed writing poetry, cats, children and walking
 Surviving are 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
 She was preceded in death by brothers, Reginald L., Elwin L.  
Ernest H. Drake; and a sister, Marjorie O. Drake.
 Visitation: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Farley Estes Funeral Home.
 Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Salvation Army Capt.
Paul D. Smith officiating.
 Burial: Reese Cemetery.
 Memorials: Salvation Army.
