Helen Roselie (Rose) Elmer, age 75, of Battle Creek, died July 29, 2007 at 
Battle Creek Health System. She was married to Gerald 
Elmer who preceded her in death on June 19, 1991. She was also preceded in 
death by her parents and a sister Myrtle Fisher.
Rose enjoyed going to Speed's in Urbandale for coffee, watching soap operas and 
game shows and especially being with her great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Shaw Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with 
Pastor William Lang of Leroy Congregational Church officiating. Entombment will 
be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Lifespan Good 
Samaritan Hospice.
