Battle Creek Moon Journal, February 22, 1926
Russell Englebretsen Passes- Russell Arthur Englebretsen passed away at his 
residence, 21 Peninsular street this morning at 4 o’clock.  He was 22 years 
old and is survived by his widow, a little daughter, Virginia Ann, age two 
years; his mother, Mrs. Anna Bloom, of Beford township; his father, Harry 
Englebretsen, of Detroit, and two sisters, Mrs. George Stevens and Mrs. A.D 
Freeland, both of Battle Creek.  Service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock from Hebble’s chaplel, in charge of Re. G.W. Titus and burial will be 
made in Hicks cemetery.
