Battle Creek Enquirer
Ida Mae Hopkins, age 88, of Battle Creek, died August 16, 2007, at Brenda Moore 
Assisted Living in Battle Creek.
She married John S. Hopkins, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1993.
In retirement Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins spent summers at Maloy Lake near Barrington, 
Michigan, wintered in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She was employed at Holmes Ford as 
an office manager, then as treasurer at Gardner AMC. She was a member at the 
Lakeview Baptist Church, the Maloy Lake association and enjoyed being with her 
children and attending their activities.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson and his wife Dorothy.
Visitation will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2007, at the Floral 
Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel with the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. 
Morris F. Anderson of Lakeview Baptist Church will officiate. Arrangements are 
by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
