Maureen H. Hrang-thawng, age 40, of Battle Creek, died Saturday afternoon, July 
28, 2007 at The Manor of Battle Creek, surrounded by her loving family.
Maureen was born Chin State, Burma and moved to the Battle Creek area with her 
family in 1987. Maureen was employed as a meal prep person for Pizza Hut, Taco 
Bell and Ryan's Steak House.
The funeral service to celebrate Maureen's life will be held on Wednesday, 
August 1st at Noon at the Gospel Baptist Church, 46 Fox Avenue, Battle Creek, 
with the Rev. Moses R. Cung, Pastor, officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday 
at the Church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Oak 
Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek. The Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle 
Creek is in charge of all the arrangements. Personal messages for the family
