Battle Creek Enquirer April 18, 1989
Beulah Bea Hudson, 93 of Pompano Beach, Fla., and formerly of Battle Creek, died Sat April 15, at Humana	
South Hospital in Pompano Beach, where she had been a patient for three weeks. 
She had ill for several years.
She was born in Charlotte and lived Battle Creek until moving to Pompano Beach in 1967. 
She was a graduate of the old Ferris State College. 
In Battle Creek she worked for Foster Insurance Agencyand Smith-Lindroth Inc.,
Retiring in 1966. She was a member Order of the Eastern Star, American Business Women's Association
and Unity Christian Church.
She enjoyed reading.
 Surviving are a son, seven grandchildren; and seven great-children.
Her marriage to Roy LaBerteaux ended in divorce, 
an he died  in  1959. Her second husband, Fred Hudson died in 1944. 
A son Budd LaBerteaux died in October.
 There will be no services. Her body was donated to the University of Miami School of Medicine.
 Memorial donations may be made to Unity Christian Church
