He was born in Cadillac to Tom and Alma (Scott) Hudson. He came to Battle Creek in 1977 from Green Bay, Wis. He was a 1929 graduate of Buckley High School. He was employed as a welder by Alwin Manufacturing, Green Bay, for 25 years. He attended Springfield Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, trout fishing, yard and garden work. He married Grace Kecker, she died April 1973. Surviving are his widow; 2 sons; a daughter; 2 stepdaughters; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Avenue, Green Bay.
