Ann E. McKale, 88, of Ridge Manor, Florida died June 8, 2007. She was born 
in Wiek, Germany the daughter of Claus and Minna (Tresup) Kuehl. Ann 
retired from the Kellogg Company in 1980 and moved to Florida with her husband 
August. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Brooksville, Florida 
and a past member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Battle Creek. From 1955 to 
1957 she served as Recording Secretary of the local American Federation of 
Grain Millers while employed at Kellogg's. An avid golfer, she was a past 
member of the Riverside and Marshall Country Clubs and a current member of 
Whispering Oaks Country Club in Ridge Manor. She also enjoyed needlework and 
gardening. 
Ann was the widow of August W. McKale, having been married to him for 52 years. 
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul and two sisters, Ella Casterline of 
Battle Creek and Lillie Hayter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 
Ann was an active volunteer in the Woman's Abuse Center, Ridge Manor Library, 
visited shut-ins and delivered the Ridge Manor newsletter. 
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Graveside services 
will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reese Cemetery with the Rev. Gary L. Seifert 
of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Memorial contributions may 
be directed to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or 
charity of ones choice. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
