Mary E. McKay

Mary E. McKay, 88, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 
Battle Creek Health System. She was born in Battle Creek the daughter of George 
Ross and Mary Louise (Scott) Sterling. Mary graduated in 1937 from Battle Creek 
Senior High. She married William Wilson McKay and he preceded her in death on 
January 19, 1955. Mary enjoyed shopping and she loved to spend time with her 
granddaughters. She also enjoyed going to dinner with family and friends and 
spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William George McKay and 
her sister, Jane Robinson.
Visitation will be held at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service on Sunday from 6 - 8 
p.m. 
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Bachman Hebble Funeral 
Service with Pastor Jeff C. Worden officiating. Burial will be at the Memorial 
Park Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to American Cancer Society or 
M.A.D.D. - Calhoun Co. Chapter. Arrangements by the Bachman Hebble Funeral 
Service, a member by invitation Selected Independent Funeral Homes. (269) 965-
